  Great way to see Birmingham and dine at restaurants off the beaten path. I’ve done this tour more than once (brunch tour and dinner tour). Both were great!! I was familiar with a couple of stops, but there were others that I’ve never heard of. Chicken and waffles, shrimp and grits, and turkey wings to name a few dishes. Don’t worry! If you start getting full grab a to go box! Great music, food and fun!

  I booked the food tour for my birthday and I was not disappointed! Joy is definitely the hostess with the mostest LOL! The selection of restaurants, the dishes that were served, and the other guests that were part of the tour made this one of the most memorable birthdays I've ever celebrated. I highly recommend the Eat.Drink. Ride Birmingham food tour!

  This company states in their name that they are a private PARTY BUS: eat drink and ride. Now guys when you think of a party bus what do you think..? Dim lighting, crunk music, alcohol, and nice party places where you can keep the positive vibes up the entire night. RIGHT?! Doesn’t that sound like fun! Well, it should have been, but JOY WAS NOT SO JOYFUL. From the first introduction all that was felt by the group was tension and a woman who had no sense of humor or knew what a leisure go with the flow pace was for a group that just wanted to party. She told us that we needed to wear our mask on the bus, but could remove them to drink and if we spilt the drinks we couldn’t waste our drink we would need to lick it up off the floor (humor I know, but dang if you’re so strict with Covid restrictions why even bring yourself and the driver out? (who took a shot of vodka on the bus by the way) safety hazard maybe?? You should have stayed inside and saved people’s money and time. We had drinks yes and we were having fun, but JOY was the first one to introduce ratchet music that was on her personal phone so let’s stop with the lies. By the end of the night I was COMPLETELY sober just from the fact of her nasty attitude mixed with ending the night at Carrabba’s.. a party group at a nice family restaurant and this isn’t a dang local restaurant either!!! Complete crap show, waste of money, and one lady that should not be in comedy because she isn’t the least bit funny. Save your money save your time and find another company! Bham is to good not to explore with a great tour who actually cares about the customers experience. #FAIL #DONTDOIT

  Absolutely horrible hostess! I had a terrible time with her. I left an honest review and she accused me of being so intoxicated she is “surprised I remember the evening.” I honestly wish that was the case. Worst money I have ever spent! A food tour that takes you to Carrabas? I can’t even imagine how you can act like that’s a good stop for a food tour. Her response to my previous review (The Joke Will Only Be On You) shows her true character. I stand by what I said even though she insulted me and accused me of being drunk. Anytime you pay someone over $1,000 for a fun experience and they are absolutely rude to you how do you expect good reviews for your business? Please read her response to my previous review and decide for yourself. I stand by what I said, the joke will only be on you for giving this unpleasant person your money. I could say so much more but she is not with my time.

  My friends and I booked this "party bus" food tour thinking we would be drinking, dancing, and tasting delicious food. After all, if you say party bus it is under the pretense that there will be a party on the bus. This company gives the perfect example of false advertising. Our group paid her over $1200 to be treated horribly. We discussed what we wanted with her before hand and asked where we were going. She said it was a surprise and we would find out when we get there. This should have been our first sign that something wasn't right but we still had high hopes. To summarize, we each had a few pieces of sushi and a shot glass of Sake. One fried green tomato with a sample of red wine. A slice of pizza and ended the night at Carrabba's. The bus left us at once to take Joy to her "comedy show." and even though Joy said we were so late and were on a schedule we still had two hours remaining when we arrived at our last stop, Carraba's. This was after she said we didn't have enough time to order drinks at the first stop and couldn't even go into the third stop. She brought the pizza on the bus for us to eat while we rode around. This was not a $1200 experience, it wasn't even remotely close. For the same amount of money I could have rented a party bus, had a full meal at a restaurant and then went to a couple places for a drink, not just a sample of a drink. If you are under the age of 55 and you are trying to go out and have good time on a party bus DO NOT BOOK THIS TOUR! Pay $1200 and rent a bus that you can decide where you go and don't end your night of fun at the local Carrabba's with a hostess who claims to be a comedian but her only joke of the night was on us for giving her our money.

  I was looking so forward to this.!!! I was sooooo disappointed in this tour.!!!!! First of all, the AC was not working on the bus along with the very bumpy and fishtailing ride. Second, the first stop was the best stop for the entire trip. We were served a saucer size portion of Cajun pasta. This was the best and only portion of food we received for $90.00. Next stop was a beverage boutique where we had a small taste of liqueur. We were hungry at this point. We arrived at our next stop and we are served pieces of fried green tomatoes and a very small taste of calm soup from a medicine cup size container. WOW!!! I was stunned.....I guess Joy could feel the bad vibes and pulled into a pizza joint and had some pizza, cut in small squares, brought to the bus... Last stop was an ice cream place which was ok. Overall, I am extremely DISAPPOINTED!!!

  Thank you Joy for putting our tour together in such a quick time. We had so much fun eating and drinking and eating and drinking with you. You kept us laughing and shared new places we wouldn’t have found on our own and we will definitely go back to. We are already looking forward to our next food tour with you.

  I love Joy's food tours .It's a great way to visit local restaurant's without having to drive yourself.. I have taken her wine tasting tours twice and wasn't disappointed. If you want to enjoy different dishes , try special drinks , and meet new people while having a great hostess this is the tour for you. I recommend it to my coworker's and friends.

  This is my second time going on this food and wine tour with Comedienne Joy within 1 month!! I would encourage EVERYONE visiting bham or even long time residents of the city to explore different restaurants that you've never been to or even heard of! This food and wine tour is a good way to taste bham!!!! 😋😋
